The stripped back of 11 ribs plum and figured maple ribs, and a plum endclasp. The neck and pegbox are solid plum., which matches the wood used for the ribs. The mixture of plum and holly pegs continue the theme of the stripped back. The fingerboard is box wood with bone edging strips. The soundboard is fine grained European spruce of excellent quality. The rose design is that of the original.
